A little self-reflection.

As you know, next week I am celebrating 25 years of existence. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the past 25 years, and the years to come – and in doing so, have savoured some delightful conversations with people who are walking the path a little (and a little more) further ahead. I have posed the question in the form of,

If you could go back and speak to your 25 year-old self, what would you say?

I am privileged to know some very good thinkers and livers, and am gathering all of their responses to this question. Their answers have been so beneficial and I want to share some of them with you on here: so look out for a post sometime next week.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts, too. If you are past the half-a-century mark, what do you wish your 25 year-old self had known? And if you aren’t quite there yet: are there things you hope you have done/learned/figured out by the time you are?

Comment/facebook/tweet me your goals and nuggets of wisdom!

PS: wanna join in the birthday festivities? You’re invited!

  1. This is a thought that I’ve had recently in how to impart wisdom to our children. I suppose the one life lesson that I would go back and tell myself would be that trying to do everything, be everything and organise everyone else is actually the pride and arrogance that without me the world would not turn. This would have maybe saved me a lot of heartbreak. Although knowing my 25 year old self, I most likely would have not heeded this advice!!
